Effective January 15, 2005 the Canadian Ladies' Golf Association and the Royal Canadian Golf Association amalgamated to form the new RCGA and become one unified governing body for golf in Canada. Both organizations are rich in tradition and have combined staff, resources, expertise and over 100 years of history.
The amalgamation is an essential step in shaping the future of golf and creating innovative programs and services to better serve Canadian golfers across the country.
